Qualification:

Bachelors or Master’s in Food Science and Technology.

Experience:

Must have 5 to 10 years’ experience in relevant field.

Location: Karachi

Job Responsibility for Quality Manager:

Responsible for the management and implementation of the QMS and its sub-systems and processes and ensuring it meets business and regulatory needs.

Responsible for leading and managing members of the Quality team, their output and ensuring their continued development.

Ensure the correct resources are in place to support implementation and maintenance of the QMS for current business needs and for future planned growth or change.

Ensure effective and compliant release of product from process to process and from the company to Customer including providing sterility assurance where applicable.

Ensure that audit capability is developed and maintained as required by business needs.

Deliver training in QMS/ FSSC22000 /GMP's topics to all levels of the business and support all staff inductions with a QMS introduction session as appropriate to their role. *Good Knowledge of FDA Certification, Audits & products registration, Good Knowledge of Research & Development.

Job Responsibility for production and Assistant Production Manager:

Good Knowledge of production Process & Planning, maintenance operations and coordinate flow of work.

Ensure production is always in high standard, food safety and hygiene in accordance with the law.

Manage raw material, packaging based on production schedule to achieve daily production goals.

Schedule and supervise plant operations to meet production requirements in timely and cost effective manner.

Ensure processes in compliance to related requirement.

Responsible for all operations, machineries and equipment. Ensure optimized profitability by effective management of manufacturing costs, quality and productivity standard.

Plan production schedule, material allocation and manpower resources to ensure production operate smoothly and efficiently. Troubleshoot, identify and resolve production problems that may arise.

Ensure compliance to all applicable government regulations and facilitate required licensing and certifications.

Commission new product lines and supervise production pilot runs. Provide supervison and guidance to all manufacturing staff, manage, discipine and evaluate the performance of staff. Any other duties as assigned.
