JOB DESCRIPTION

· Ensure food safety compliance and auditing requirements as per Government food regulatory requirements

· Systematic approach of auditing

· Planning, Preparation and Conduction of onsite audit, report preparation and timely submission

 

· To manage all activities related to quality and food safety management

· Trend analysis of internal data

· Weekly reporting to the Line Manager

ORGANIZE AND SUPERVISE SHIFTS

· Developing and maintaining a quality assurance program for a Kitchen & cafeteria food service operation.

· Evaluating the quality of food served by the kitchen food service operation.

· Evaluating the cleanliness of equipment, utensils and work areas of a kitchen & cafeteria food service operation.

· Deals with quality improvement by completing product, company, system, and organizational audits.

· Establish and enact the Inspection Plan.

· Determining and ensuring that guest requirements are met

· Keep a performance record of quality reports, statistical reviews and other activities.

· Keeping an eye on the goal of increasing the company's profitability

· Assisting with the development of policies and procedures to ensure that the food served is safe, of the correct quality, and meets all regulatory requirements.

· Coordinates training and therapy to provide employees with quality standards and assistance when they're not meeting goals.

· Conducts hazard analyses and monitors quality measures to set the standard for quality assurance

· Any other task assigned by the team lead

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

· Proven work experience of 2-5 Years as a Food Technologist / Food Quality Assurance Officer / Food Safety Auditor or similar role at Hotels, Catering companies, In-house catering operations including those in large corporate settings such as business and factory canteens, Hospitals, Prisons, schools, Colleges, universities, Army Messes, Government officer messes, Gymkhana Clubs Airline Caterings, Cruise liners Caterings, Offshore oil/gas rigs, Cement Factories etc

· Food and beverage (F&B) industry knowledge in all aspects with Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, Strong leadership to build strong relationships with guest and staff, motivational, people managing skills and financial management skills

QUALIFICATIONS

· BS Food Science Technology or BS Food Science Engineering or similar

· In case of DAE Food Technologist, candidates have min 10 years of experience in FMCG or related in well renowned industries
