Minimum
Requirements
- Advanced
university degree in chemistry, biochemistry, food science, food
technology, public health, pharmacology/toxicology, social sciences, or a
related field.
- Three
years of relevant experience in food safety and food control and/or
development of food safety and quality standards in UAE, including at
least two years of experience in leading such work at the national, regional, or international level.
- Working
knowledge (proficient – level C) of English and limited knowledge
(intermediate – level B) of another official FAO language (Arabic).

AED 4,000.00 – AED 6,000.00 per month

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate
all safety-related activities, including training materials development
and review, and conducting site inspections
- Develop
and manage company-wide safety programs, including training, job hazard
analysis, and surveillance
- Implement
company-wide safety initiatives, including safety management systems,
safety committees, safety meetings, and safety audits
- Ensure
procedures are followed, and that hazards are identified and addressed
- Research,
monitor, and assess workplace hazards, and coordinate and administer
safety and health programs
- Develop
safety procedures and standards
- Maintain
and update accident investigation reports
- Promote
health and safety awareness among all employees
- Promote
the use of all safety equipment, including personal protective equipment
- Perform
other related duties as assigned
- Perform
quality control checks and generate QC reports for incoming and outgoing
products to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards in
accordance with SFA's regulations
- Perform
sensory evaluation for incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality
and for product improvement
- Conduct QC
inspection for customer feedback
- Provide
technical and quality-related assistance to other departments, assist in the marketing department’s recipe, videos, and photo shoots when required
- Perform
regular internal and external product quality control and monitor their
quality to provide timely feedback to category/supplier for
improvement
- Compile/archive
QC report-related documents
- Assist in maintaining, sourcing, and purchasing QC equipment and consumables when required
- Assist in
product development or product improvement sensory evaluation preparations
when required
- Assist
sales or other departments with product specification, certification, and
quality-related document requests
